My opinion on the death penalty

My opinion on the death penalty is in some cases they should use it but in some others not so much. Like in this case Walter Sorto Alexander he kidnapped two hispanic females sexually assaulted them and the he shot them in the face. But if you only robbed a store i don't think you should get the death penalty. Clifton Williams in his case he Entered the house of a 93 year old lady he stabbed her, Strangled her and then he burned her body so he should get the death penalty. In the state of maine i don't really think that the death penalty should be legal because its not that big of a state unlike other states.

Book Review of Chess Rumble

Chess Rumble by G. Neri is about This young kid named Marcus, who had anger problems and he would get into a bunch of trouble at school and at home. The main reason why he would get so angry all the time was because he didn't have a solid relationship with his father. The only way he could take his mind off things was by playing chess. At first Marcus had no idea how to even play chess and would get so angry. This book was a verse novel it was a good book I enjoyed reading it. What I like about the book was the way the author set up the book. What I didn't really like was how short the book was I wished it had gone on for a little longer. I think this book is more fitted for boys because it involved some gangs. The length of the book was a little to short it only had 64 pages. This book had at least one picture on every page that in unusual for books.

Sexual Assault letter

Dear whom this may concern,

1 in 6 women and 1 in 33 men will get sexually assaulted in their lifetime. Women who are in collage are four times more likely to get sexually assaulted. If you were ever sexually assaulted in your lifetime you may develop a eating disorder. I think the book speak should be allowed in school because it really does teach you a lot about rape and sexual assault. 

I am a 15 year old kid and i had to read the book “Speak” it really did teach me a lot of stuff about rape and all of the side affects. In the year 2007 there was 248,300 victims of sexual assault. In this book “Speak” The rape victim Melinda she could not tell anyone about her rape not even her own parents just because she felt so uncomfortable with the whole thing. As the I got further in the book there was a couple times where Melinda just felt do disgusted she just needed to tell someone. She ended up telling one of her old friends as she said the name “Andy Evens” the girl didn’t believe her. I don’t really think that the rape scene contained soft pornography. Every two minutes all over the world someone is raped. More than 60% of rape cases are not reported to the police.
